-I am
pleased to join you today on this special occasion.

-As the
largest Turkish investor in China, ATA Group and its subsidiary TFI-Tab Food
Investment is opening its 1500th restaurant in China and 3000^th in
the world today.

-I should
say that I am proud to see a Turkish company prospering in China, a country
with such a huge and competitive market.

- As a
global brand in the field of franchising, TFI has successfully been running
hundreds of Burger King restaurants in different parts of China. And this one
is the 111^th restaurant in Beijing.

-On this occasion,
we witness once again that Turkish companies have a great capacity in supply
and production chains.

-I must say
that such successful achievements abroad are a great source of happiness for us.

Distinguished Guests,

-Türkiye-China
commercial ties are steadily improving day by day.

- China is
our largest trade partner in Asia and our third largest in the world.

-A total of
1209 Chinese companies are operating in Türkiye. And approximately 100 of Turkish
companies are operating in China.

-I am glad
to observe that our companies and investors are establishing fruitful partnerships
with Chinese companies in a wide range of areas such as e-commerce, telecommunication,
renewable energy, electric vehicles etc.

Dear Guests,

-The trade
volume between Türkiye and China has increased 40 times in the last 20 years,
breaking a record with approximately 45 billion dollars in 2022.

-There is a
huge potential of cooperation for our companies operating in China.

-We encourage
both Turkish and Chinese business people to grasp the investment opportunities
with a win-win approach.

-We are
confident that, under the strategic guidance of our Presidents, we will expand
our bilateral trade relations to its real potential.

-As I
conclude my remarks, let me reiterate that we, as the Embassy of Türkiye in
Beijing, along with our four Consulates Generals in Shanghai, Guangzhou,
Chengdu and Hong Kong, are always ready to provide you the necessary support.
